Is ea é An Leabharlann na gClocha Ceilte taispeántais dealbhóireacht ó Noah Rose timpeall Oileán Chléire. Fuair Noah inspioráid ó dán ón cartlann Dúchas, ‘Inis Cléire’ (anaithnid), atá ag cheiliúrann cultúr Gaeilge Chléire.

Tá na líne ón dán greanta ag Noah, san Cló Gaelach i gclocha ar thángthas orthu. Beidh na glocha chuirithe isteach ag ocht suíomh difriúil lasmuigh timpeall Chléire. Beidh bhealach pearsanta Noah thar an oileán oscailte chun chuairt a thabairt ar gach chuid do na glocha ceilte.

The Hidden Stone Library is a sculptural installation by County Galway artist Noah Rose which will be installed at various points around the island during. Taking a little-known poem from the Dúchas archive, ‘Inis Cléire’ (author unknown), that celebrates the island’s Irish-speaking culture.

Noah has carved the lines of this poem by hand, in Cló Gaelach script, into tablets of found stone. These will be installed at eight different locations, each one at a significant place in the landscape. To visit all eight locations will be to walk around Oileán Chléire in a new route, taking in hidden aspects of the island’s beautiful landscape.

The work will be inaugurated on 7th Aug as part of the Féile Oileán, with a special unveiling ceremony, artist’s talk, walking tour and accompanying photographic exhibition.
